Abide in Me

Remain in me and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. John 15:4

Show me Your Glory

I was feeling a little bummed about the last song we sang on the worship team today. It seemed like there were no figs on the vine (no sheep in the pen, no cows in the stall), if you know what I mean. Then tonight, I remembered that I saw the Glory earlier in worship.

Every so often, during a worship service or sometimes in the rehearsal, I've seen a fog over the room. I've asked a couple friends if they noticed the haze and they haven't. Each time I see it, I feel a very warming in my heart as I believe the Lord is showing me that He Is Here! He's shown up and He wants me to know it. Now why, when I'm praying (often aloud for the church), am I not acknowledging His presence as the true miracle that it is?! If everyone were seeing the Glory of the Lord, wouldn't that place be rockin? If the Spirit of the Lord would fall upon us all like a blanket of dew falling from heaven, would not our unbelieving minds be awakened?
Let's make it our prayer that the Glory of the Lord would be revealed to the whole church!
