Love is the Answer

My experience at the School of Power Evangelism seriously kicked me in the butt. I was ripe for this and already have a little experience with it but now with more instructions and informational reminders about who we are dealing with (the public), I'm really looking at things differently and finding that when there's time (anticipating this becoming my way-of-life) I will be seeking out needy people to love and share Jesus with, pray for, etc.

Becky - I've prayed with her several times before at the shelter, but haven't seen her in months. I've never met her outside of the shelter, but yesterday I bumped into her. She was ashamed because they had a big bottle of beer in a gatorade bottle. She asked me to pray for them. I prayed for deliverance from addiction and for some other good things to happen. After I left, I had a sense that we were in a very difficult, dark environment.

I've been getting a strong message the past few weeks that there is only one way that will bring revival - and even only one way to share Christ - that is: IN and WITH the LOVE OF CHRIST. When He came in to us, He took up residence. His Spirit is filling our spirit each time we commune with our Lord. Loving people was the strongest message at the School and I cannot say how many affirmations I've gotten in the past two weeks alone but LOVE is the answer !
